Since the moment i met you
I think of you day and night.
You entered my life
and made everything right.

The wrongs that were done to me
The heart-breaks I'd had
No longer mattered to me.
They were just passing fads.

Your smile enticed me
and you're kindness caught me off guard.
I knew right away
that falling for you wasn't going to be hard.

We've spoken day after day
and i could sense my feelings grow.
I couldn't believe you were real!
But now i definitely know.

I dream about you when i sleep.
I think about you at work.
I think about how tough your life is,
dealing with a divorce and that jerk!

I wish that I could help.
Do something to make everything ok.
So I am writing you this poem
And I am here for you every day.

I can't wait to meet you
finally see you face to face
when I finally realize the meaning
of God's Blessed Grace.

Until that day comes
I will dream of being by your side.
Of holding you close to me
Of being the one in whom you confide.
