Extra Mile.
I thank you for the friendship,
for the radiance of your smile,
at times I irritate and annoy you,
but thanks for going the extra mile.
I thank you for each day,
you're my life's sunshine,
even though time is fast,
it has really caused my words to rhyme.
This poem is short,
I made this for you,
it's not that fancy,
but deep inside me it's true.
Thank you for the inspiration and love.
That surely must have been sent from above.
I may be simple,
but my words are true,
I made this poem,
for a special girl and a friend like you.
