Never Letting You Go.
At first we were classmates
Nothing less or more
Then my friend started to like you
So I started noticing you more
We got to know each other
You were different from what I thought
You told me about your brothers
And I laughed at the thought
I didn't notice
That I was falling for you
But I couldn't help it
It was a situation left to you
So I went though good and bad
Trying not to cry
Then I got up my courage
And asked you if you would
You said yes and
Everything went according to plan
Until that day
When I had to leave for Japan
I thought you would like someone new
By the time I came back
And I would just be old news
So I broke up with you
That was my worst mistake
I wish I could take it back
I know I hurt you so much
I remember the cinema
You taught me about love
And how it felt like
I spent four months
regretting my mistake
Then I spent another two months
Wondering if I should get back with you
Then your best friend told me
That you still loved me deeply too
So I got up the courage again
And asked you out
You said yes
I was the happiest girl alive
But what I was so happy about
Is that for the first time
I asked someone out face to face
And it felt wonderful
Then in the coming hour
I started to wonder
If it was really right
Because I didn't feel as happy
But I know I would never let go of you again
Because without you
All I think of is memories
And when we're together we make memories
